Fu Ssu-nien (1896–1950) was the founder of the Institute of History and Philology, Academia Sinica, a leading figure within “new history,” and a leader in the New Culture Movement. The Fu Ssu-nien Memorial Room, located in the Fu Ssu-nien Library, commemorates these endeavors and more by displaying his personal artifacts, manuscripts, photographs, and other representative materials to assist visitors in understanding the importance of the many facets to his life.
