Our lab will show skeletal samples from a variety of goldfish strains that have been domesticated over history. These samples are not just nice to look at, they also provide a lot of information about the different forms and appearance of goldfish and their fins. Some goldfish have two tail fins, other goldfish lack the fin on their backs. Visitors will also have access to bibliographic, photographic, and video material on goldfish to spark more general discussions and showcase other diverse features of this fin-tastic family of fish.
