We live in a world surrounded by microorganisms, including viruses, bacteria and parasites. We normally associate bacteria with disease; however, many bacteria are essential to our well-being. In this series of lectures IBC researchers will describe their efforts to study and understand how bacteria impact our lives. Topics include antibiotic resistance, bacteria causes important diseases and bacteria that live in our stomach and play a key role in our overall health.
