However, that year also marked the beginning of the state’s sudden changes that characterized the late Qing period, changes which include the rise of banditry and difficulties in both internal and external affairs…

How to Participate:
- Follow and become a fan of our official Facebook page.
- Take the psychometric test via our "And Then? The Ups and Downs in the Official Lives of Imperial Examination Graduates (金榜題名and then?進士宦海浮沉記) " event post.
- Share your test result on your Facebook page (please remember to make it public).
- Access the Map of Officials' Career Paths from a Pass List of Imperial Examinations website, find your official, display his career path, and screenshot one of his career records.
- Comment on the Facebook event post as follows: [Name of imperial examination graduate] is the one I'm destined with], and
- After posting a comment that includes the above, you will be entered to win a "Golden Placard Prize!"
【Golden Placard Prize】*10 prizes available in total. Each winner will receive one of the below.
- Six "Lucky Charm for the Examination" amulets (blue/pink, chosen at random).
- Four sets of two "Emperor Says..." paper tape in the "Motion Approved" and "Motion Denied" designs.

- The event closes at 11:59 p.m. on Nov. 9 (Wed.).
- The list of lucky winners will be posted on the Museum's official Facebook page at 10:00 a.m. on Nov. 16 (Wed.).
- Winners are asked to privately message the fan page by 5:00 p.m. on Nov. 25 (Fri.). Please provide your name, phone number, and mailing address, and we shall ship the prize via registered mail to you (shipping is limited to Taiwan, Penghu, Kinmen, and the Matsu Area).
- The organizer reserves the right to modify, change, or suspend the event or any part thereof at any time if the event is unable to be carried out or any disputes arise.
