2021 Sinica Open House Activity

The “Open Museum Know-How Workshop” will be held on October 30, 2021 via Webex online conferencing software. During this 1.5-hour seminar, the Open Museum development team will introduce the basics of the Open Museum, such as Creative Commons (CC) licensing and metadata, using practical examples to explain its features: gathering open data from museum collections worldwide, translating scholarly research into popular exhibits, and cooperating with various institutions to create dazzling online displays. The seminar will also introduce the Open Museum Plaza, launched this year, and explain how regular users can combine open-license collections with the platform tools to easily build their own online exhibits. A half-hour interactive Q&A will be held at the end.
