Excavations are essential for archaeology to understand prehistoric cultures. This activity introduces the basic concepts and principles of archaeological excavation practices and techniques, as well as the common artifacts unearthed from sites throughout Taiwan. In addition, participants can experience the marvels of an archaeological dig by excavating simulated soil layers, with unexpected surprises awaiting underneath!
