Pain is a complex phenomenon influenced by both physiological and psychological factors. Physiological factors include dysfunctions in the nervous system, while psychological factors involve thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Physiological pain is often acute and short-term, whereas psychological pain tends to be chronic and long-lasting. In this presentation, I will explain the current understanding of both physiological and psychological pain.
