Using cardboard paper, LED lights, a piece of conductive tape and a small battery, the hands-on activity help learners explore the basics of electricity (energy that results from the existence of charged particles like electrons or protons) and conductivity (the degree to which a material can conduct electricity). Participants can create their own take-away of either a supernova or a young star. Limited quanitity - 50 only - and is not for very young children because battery is a choking hazard.
