For past biologists, explaining morphological variations across a broad geographic range in different species, or conducting behavioral studies, the greatest challenge was to objectively define these shapes, colors, and various external behavioral patterns. Now, we can use artificial intelligence to learn from millions of photos of butterflies and moths, extract image features, or directly identify behaviors in videos of animals and explain their mechanisms of evolutionary adaptation to the environment. Artificial intelligence will help us delve deeper into the beauty of biology.
