In addition to displaying Chinese and foreign-language reference books and significant journals, the Reading Area of the Fu Ssu-nien Library, which will be open to the public for the 2023 Open House, showcases the publications of the Institute of History and Philology and works of our colleagues, thereby presenting the remarkable research efforts and results of IHP research fellows in various fields of history. Visitors interested in a guided tour of the FSN Library general stacks can register at the circulation desk in the Reading Area prior to the start of any session. The scope of the tour includes Chinese, Western, Japanese, and Korean-language books and periodicals, collections of which cover history, art, archaeology, medicine and healing, paleology, and so forth—truly a treasure trove for historical research.
