“A Window to Eastern Chou: Eastern Chou Relics Unearthed inHonan” is divided into three sections: First, the collection of National Museum of History from the excavations conducted by local organizations at the Li-chia-lou Tomb in Hsin-cheng County, and at the Liu-li-ko Tomb Chia and I in Hui County, Honan Province between 1923 and 1936. The second and third parts are relics come from archaeological excavations conducted by the Institute of History and Philology at the Shan-piao-chen Tomb in Chi County and the Liu-li-ko Tomb M60 in Hui County between 1935 and 1937. We provide comprehensive information such as fieldwork photos and the entire collection of artifacts. By showcasing the findings from aristocratic tombs of the mid Spring and Autumn to the early Warring States period (ca. 600-400 BCE), the exhibition is offering all visitors a glimpse into the upper-class material culture in the Central Plain during the Eastern Chou period.
