The exhibition features Taiwan Commercial Letters selected from the Tai-yi-hao Papers of Nagasaki and presents trade letters related to Chinese herbal medicine. Created from 1904 to 1942, these records represent vivid images of companies which traded Chinese herbal medicine in Taipei. The letters sent from Qian-yuan Pharmacy, Taiwan Pharmaceutical Company, Dong-xi Pharmacy, Lin-xie-xing Company, and Zhou-yuan-cheng Company depict the prosperous business activities between Nagasaki and Taipei in the first half of the 20th century.
